France sold EUR8 billion in bonds, the maximum goal, after French President Francois Hollande took power. The average yield on the September 2014 notes was 0.74%, compared with 0.85% at the last auction on 19 April. On the February 2017 debt, the average yield was 1.72%, falling from 1.83% in the previous sale.
