Iran's attacks on UAE and Bahrain aluminum companies shored up CHALCO (02600.HK) and CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK) by 3.4% and 7.9%, respectively. Gas utility ENN ENERGY (02688.HK) saw a full-year net profit drop of 1.4%, with its stock price shedding 1.5%. Resources stock CMOC (03993.HK) reported a 50% hike in full-year net profit, but the stock stumbled 3%. Gold miners SD GOLD (01787.HK) and LINGBAO GOLD (03330.HK) soared 3.1% and 6.2%, respectively. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) charted a full-year net profit reduction of 19%. Under the same series, BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK) saw an 18% downswing. BYD COMPANY opened 4.6% lower but rebounded 0.1% by midday, whereas BYD ELECTRONIC narrowed its loss to 2.2%. Lei Jun stated that the new generation SU7 marked delivery of 4,000-5,000 units in the first week, with XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) sagging 1.5%. TENCENT CLOUD inked an agreement with MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) for comprehensive cooperation in the AI agent field, with MINIMAX growing 1.5%. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) soared 6.7%.
