IM LS8, a premium electric SUV developed by Zhiji Motor, a joint venture between SAIC MOTOR (600104.SH), BABA-W (09988.HK), and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, has begun pre-sales. The vehicle is available in four models, with presale prices ranging from RMB259,800 to RMB309,800. The new car will officially be delivered on April 16. Positioned as a "mini LS9", the LS8 retains the flagship model's design language while targeting the RMB250,000-300,000 new energy SUV market through differentiated size and configuration strategies. The new vehicle features a combination of a 27.1-inch 5K cockpit screen and a 15.6-inch 3K passenger entertainment screen, and incorporates the IMAIOS intelligent cockpit system.
