In February 2026, China saw the installation volume of new energy vehicle (NEV) power batteries drop by 19.2% YoY to 27.3 GWh, according to an insight report released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). In 2M26, the average battery capacity per NEV was 62 kWh, up 29.2% YoY.
