MGM CHINA to Add 124 Premium Suites at MGM Cotai Next Mth

MGM CHINA (02282.HK) will add 124 premium suites at its flagship property, MGM Cotai, next month. Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts International, said that the Group has converted three floors of MGM Cotai into all-suite floors, targeting the high-end mass client group. Hornbuckle added that MGM CHINA currently maintains a market share of about 15%, and believed that it will continue to hold this in the long term. He noted that competition in Macau is intense and does not expect significant changes this year, with competition remaining fierce. He predicted that, in the next 1-2 years, Macau will maintain a relatively stable development trajectory in terms of market structure, scale and service model.
