International oil prices plummeted from their highs, with southbound capital net inflows exceeding $33 billion after midday and the latest net inflow being $33.044 billion. The HSI opened 681 points lower, and once dipped 851 points to a low of 24,906 in the early session.

The G7 and the International Energy Agency (IKA) will hold a meeting to discuss the release of oil reserves, the Financial Times quoted sources as saying.
