Nvidia (NVDA.US) plans to launch a new processor specifically designed to build faster and more efficient tools for OpenAI and other clients to address the shift in AI development focus from model "training" to "inference", The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources. It is understood that Nvidia is designing a new system for model "inference", which will be a form of processing AI model responses to queries.
