Yuan, the former vice president of sales at DJI, the world's largest drone manufacturer from China, has been criminally detained by public security authorities on suspicion of bribery as a non-state civil servant, according to Jiemian.com. It is reported that the case is currently in judicial proceedings.

Information shows that Yuan served as vice president at DJI from May 2019 to May 2024, fully responsible for sales operations. During his tenure, he was accused of exploiting his position to obtain substantial illicit gains.
