CLP HOLDINGS (00002.HK)'s CLPe supported the Hong Kong SAR Government's Updated Version of the Hong Kong Roadmap on Popularisation of Electric Vehicles by enhancing high-speed charging network for electric commercial vehicles. CLPe Managing Director Ringo Ng said that driving the electrification of commercial vehicles, especially medium and heavy vehicles, must address their need for fast charging solutions. In line with the Government’s development direction, CLPe will significantly expand its charging services, with a focus on fast and ultra-fast charging within the year, Ng said. The company will deepen collaboration with commercial vehicle partners to provide diversified charging solutions for different types of commercial EVs, driving wider electrification across the transport and logistics sectors, he added.
