JD-SW (09618.HK)(JD.US) completed the acquisition of Hong Kong Kai Bo Food Supermarket in August 2025, and established the 'Innovative Retail Kai Bo Business Unit'. Keira Lam, head of JD Kai Bo's procurement department, stated in an interview with RTHK that the integration with JD-SW's business and supply chain has been smooth. Currently, Kai Bo stores have introduced over 100 JD-SW's own-brand products, which have been well-received by consumers. Last year, for the first time, farm-direct hairy crabs were imported from mainland China to Hong Kong, marking the first sale of live products in Kai Bo's over thirty-year history. In the future, the Company planned to introduce more fresh products and increase the proportion of fruits and vegetables directly sourced from domestic origins.
