Shanghai NIO, a subsidiary of NIO-SW (09866.HK), has filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation as required. The recall will take effect starting today and involve the ES8, ES6, and EC6 electric vehicles (EVs) produced between March 16, 2018, and January 16, 2023, totaling 246,229 units. It is understood that some vehicles within this recall range have software problems that may black the instrument panel and central control screen for a short time under certain conditions, posing a safety hazard for drivers.
