XPENG-W Launches Start-Stop Payment Feature on 'XPENG APP' in HK

XPENG-W (09868.HK)(XPEV.US) has launched the start-stop payment feature on its “XPENG APP” in Hong Kong, supported by Antom, a merchant payment and digital service platform under Ant International. Car owners in Hong Kong can use the “XPENG APP” to scan QR codes at over 1,600 EV charging piles in Hong Kong or directly start and stop charging within the app, paying via Alipay HK. Credit card and other payment methods will be available soon. The group stated that XPENG forged a global cooperation with Antom in the second half of 2025, becoming the first Chinese nascent automaker to establish a global payment partnership with Antom, which became XPENG's first global payment partner for its charging business. Targeting the global market, XPENG will support car owners in flexibly using various payment methods, such as credit cards and local e-wallets, bank apps, to complete charging payments on the “XPENG APP”. According to the introduction, this service was first launched in Hong Kong. XPENG partnered with Cornerstone Technologies and EV Power, whose operated charging piles accounted for over 30% of all public charging piles in Hong Kong. Within this year, the service will also be introduced to markets such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, integrating with local mainstream payment tools like Thailand's True Money, Malaysia's Touch'n Go eWallet, and Indonesia's DANA.
