NIO-SW (09866.HK) Founder, Chairman and CEO William Li announced on social media that NIO plans to build 1,000 new battery swap stations in 2026, increasing the number of landscape routes available for charging to 100.

Following the completion of the G318 Sichuan-Tibet and Yunnan-Tibet battery swap routes last year, this year will see the opening of the Silk Road battery swap route, continuously expanding the travel boundaries for users, he said.
