CN Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation on Dichlorosilane Imports from JP

The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) announced an anti-dumping investigation into dichlorosilane imported from Japan, and noted that, from 2022 to 2024, the quantity of dichlorosilane imported from Japan showed an overall up trend, while prices fell by 31% in total. The dumping of imported products from Japan caused damage to domestic industry production and operations. Upon receiving the application, the investigation agency reviewed the application according to relevant laws and regulations and in compliance with WTO rules. The authority determined that the application is in line with the conditions for initiating an anti-dumping investigation, and decided to launch the investigation. The investigation agency will conduct the investigation according to law, fully safeguarding the rights of all stakeholders, and will make an objective and fair ruling based on the investigation results.
