BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK) announced that its Vientiane branch in Laos has connected to the digital RMB cross-border payment platform, making the branch one of the platform's first overseas direct participants and the local acquiring and clearing bank in Laos.

Currently, Laos is the second Southeast Asian country to officially connect to the digital RMB cross-border payment system.
