SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) announced before the opening bell today (18th) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it placed 1.75 billion shares, with expected gross proceeds of approximately HKD3.15 billion. This placing was actively subscribed by no less than six institutions, fully reflecting the market's steadfast confidence in SENSETIME-W’s long-term value and development prospects, said the company. SENSETIME-W had proposed to place 1.75 billion new Class B shares, representing 4.4% of the enlarged issued Class B shares and 4.3% of the enlarged issued shares, at the Placing Price of HKD1.8 per Placing Share, an 8.6% discount compared to yesterday's (17th) closing price of HKD1.97. The gross proceeds amount to HKD3.15 billion. SENSETIME-W opened lower today by 3.55%, bottoming at HKD1.85.
