HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) CEO Georges Elhedery is preparing for a temporary relocation to Hong Kong in the first quarter of next year to reduce his busy travel schedule, as he needs to fly to Asia multiple times each year, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Elhedery is expected to stay in Asia for about three months and plans to return to Europe before summer, hoping to have more time to visit various departments of the group in Asia during his stay in Hong Kong, sources divulged.
