CN Ambassador to US: Busan Meeting Not the End, But New Beginning

China's Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, delivered a speech via video at the U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum 2025, according to the Chinese Embassy in the U.S. He accentuated the need to anchor in the direction set by the U.S.-China leaders and to fully implement the consensus reached at the meeting, adding that the Busan meeting is not the end but a new beginning.

He said that the urgent task is to manage the entire process well, solidly advance subsequent work, and lay a solid foundation for U.S.-China relations. It is necessary to draw wisdom from historical experiences and unswervingly foster mutually beneficial cooperation.
