Yum China Eyes to 'Recreate Another Pizza Hut in 5 Yrs'; Pizza Hut Aims to Double OP by 2029

YUM CHINA (09987.HK) held an investor event, where Wang Tao, General Manager of KFC China, stated that the brand currently has over 12,600 stores, covering 2,500 cities. From 2019 to 2024, the CAGR of system sales and operating profit stood at 5%. Wang revealed the company aims to have over 17,000 stores by 2028, with operating profit breaching RMB10 billion. Regarding another brand, Pizza Hut, General Manager Kuai Jun stated that they plan to net add more than 600 stores annually over the next three years, reaching over 6,000 stores by 2028.
