HK SME Biz Sentiment/ Outlook in 1 Mth's Time Both Improve Further in Oct

The Census and Statistics Department of Hong Kong (C&SD) released today (11th) the results of the Monthly Survey on Business Situation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) for October 2025. The current diffusion index (DI) on business receipts amongst SMEs increased from 43.8 in September 2025 in the contractionary zone to 44.8 in October 2025, whereas the one-month's ahead (i.e. November) outlook DI on business receipts was 47.5. Business sentiment among SMEs and their outlook in one month's time both improved further in October, sustaining the uptrend since entering 2H25, a government spokesman said.
