The Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China issued a notice titled "On Further Accelerating the Systematic Layout and High-Level Construction of Manufacturing Pilot Platforms", proposing a steady and orderly layout for the construction of several pilot platforms to incessantly enhance the new forces of high-level pilot platforms. The notice stated that attention should be focused on key industry areas such as AI, humanoid robots, quantum technology, clean low-carbon hydrogen, biomedicine, industrial mother machines, instruments and meters, major technical equipment, new materials, and IT, which are pivotal for future development and industrial safety, and where pilot supply is scarce.
