SoftBank (09984.JP)'s profit attributable to the parent company more than doubled to JPY2.5 trillion for 2FQ ending September, beating market expectations. Its revenue also grew by 8.4% to JPY1.92 trillion, compared to the market expectation of JPY1.9 trillion.

By the end of 2FQ, SoftBank had sold a total of 32.1 million shares of Nvidia (NVDA.US), valued at USD5.83 billion in total. During 2FQ, it also sold a total of 40.2 million shares of T-Mobile, valued at USD9.17 billion in total.
