LVMH plans to open a large store in Beijing, China, in December and is exploring further expansion, believing that early signs of recovery in Chinese sales have emerged, Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, reported. Four brands under LVMH, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany, and Loro Piana, will reportedly open multi-story stores in Beijing, with some located in Taikoo Li Sanlitun, developed by SWIREPROPERTIES (01972.HK). Besides, LVMH plans to open a Christian Dior store in HKRI Taikoo Hui, a joint venture between SWIRE and HKR INT'L (00480.HK). The concept and details of the new Shanghai Dior store are still being formulated, but it will be adjacent to the super-large Louis Vuitton store that opened in the same mall at the end of June, sources divulged.
