With the joint efforts of China and the US, the port fees imposed under Section 301 by the US Trade Representative Office have been suspended since yesterday (10th) for one year.

OOIL (00316.HK) stated that the consensus reached by both parties to suspend bilateral port fees will be a major benefit for the shipping and global trade sectors.

Since the port fees kicked in on October 14, OOIL stressed that it has maintained a comprehensive service network and operational strength, without withdrawing from the market or reducing service quality. During this period, it strictly adhered to all relevant regulations while ensuring the timely payment of port fees and smooth service chain operations.

OOIL plans to continue investing in service upgrades to further consolidate its leading position in the US market.
