In 1-3Q25, gold consumption in Mainland China reached 682.73 tons, marking a YoY decrease of 7.95%, data released by the China Gold Association showed.

Among which, gold jewelry amounted to 270.04 tons, a YoY drop of 32.50%; gold bars/ coins 352.12 tons, a YoY hike of 24.55%; and industrial/ other gold usage 60.58 tons, a YoY rise of 2.72%.
