CN Intends to Develop New Application Scenarios in AI & Other Emerging Fields

The General Office of China's State Council has released implementation opinions on accelerating scenario cultivation and promoting large-scale application of new scenarios. The opinions proposed the development of new application scenarios in emerging fields. In terms of artificial intelligence, the focus will be on strengthening key core technology breakthroughs, facilitating applications, and speeding up the cultivation and opening of high-value application scenarios. Specifically, efforts will be put on enriching application scenarios in the livelihood sector, integrating new-generation information technologies, such as big data, the Internet of Things, and brain-computer interfaces, with smart devices like medical robots, and deepening cross-sectoral cooperations in commerce, culture, tourism, sports, health, and transportation to create new consumption scenarios.
