HKT-SS Faces Potential Revocation of Biz License by US FCC, Granted Extension to Respond by Dec 1

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently announced its intention to revoke the business operation license of HKT-SS (06823.HK), a subsidiary of PCCW (00008.HK), in the US. The FCC also issued a "Order to Show Cause (OSC)", requiring HKT to respond within 30 days with reasons against the proposed action. According to the latest reply letter from the FCC to HKT's legal counsel, HKT applied on October 31 for an extension of the deadline to December 15.
