DOBOT Plans Shr Placement at 10%+ Discount to Raise Net Proceeds of $770M

DOBOT (02432.HK), which was listed in December 2024, announced plans to place a total of 16.66 million new H Shares, representing approx. 3.79% of the Company's enlarged issued share capital. The Placing Price is $46.8 per share, representing a discount of approx. 10.3% to the previous closing price of $52.2 per share. The net proceeds are estimated to be approx. $771 million, which are expected to be used for advancing technological research and product innovation in intelligent robotics to expand its market footprint, pursuing investment, acquisition and strategic alliance opportunities in the robotic value chain and adjacent areas, strengthening sales channels, with intensifying marketing efforts and working capital replenishment and general corporate purposes. This morning, DOBOT opened 3.16% lower, and bottomed at $48.8. It last printed at $49.04, slumping 6.05%, with a trading volume of 1.376 million shares, involving $68.023 million.
