BABA-W (09988.HK)(BABA.US)’s subsidiary Amap announced its official global ecological partnership with XPENG-W (09868.HK), as XPeng Robotaxi will be integrated into the Amap platform to provide users with L4 level autonomous driving travel services. This collaboration not only represents the industry's first “travel platform + pre-installed mass-produced Robotaxi” model but also marks the first cross-border opening of AI technology after Amap's transformation into spatial intelligence, according to introduction. Amap CEO Guo Ning remarked that the cooperation between Amap and XPeng is not only a business upgrade but also a pivotal step in exploring AGI (Artificial General Intelligence). Down the road, both parties will jointly expand into overseas markets, introducing China's leading Robotaxi technology to the international stage. Besides XPeng, companies like WERIDE-W (00800.HK) and PONY-W (02026.HK) also integrated into the Amap platform.
