In 1-3Q25, 48,921 new foreign-invested enterprises were established nationwide in Mainland China, marking a YoY increment of 16.2%, data released by the Ministry of Commerce showed. In 1-3Q25, the foreign direct investment (FDI) amounted to RMB573.75 billion, with the downswing narrowing from 12.7% in 8M25 to 10.4%. In September alone, the FDI grew by 11.2% YoY.
