The HSI opened up 79 points or 0.3% at 25,969. The HSCEI climbed 29 points or 0.3% to 9,251. The HSTECH rose 34.570 points or 0.6% to 6,180. Among tech stocks, BABA-W (09988.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) opened 1.4% and 1.6% higher. TENCENT (00700.HK), MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) edged up 0.3-0.5%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) and NTES-S (09999.HK) dipped 1.1% and 1.4%. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) inched 0.2% lower. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) added 0.1%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) rallied 2.1% and 2.9% at open. INNOSCIENCE (02577.HK) soared 15% to HKD89 on its partnership with Nvidia (NVDA.US) to provide a full GaN power solution for 800 VDC power architecture. New energy vehicle company SERES (601127.SH) has passed the listing hearing. Carmakers NIO-SW (09866.HK) and XPENG-W (09868.HK) opened inclining 2.3% and 1.7%. BYD COMPANY-100 (01211.HK) and LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) also hiked 0.4% and 0.6%.
