The Black Rainstorm Warning Signal and Thunderstorm Warning are currently in effect. The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) stated that the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal will remain in place until at least 11 AM today (5th). Areas of intense thundery showers associated with active southwest monsoon and upper-air disturbances continue to affect Hong Kong and the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary.
