Sales of CN-Branded PV Spike 25% YoY in 1H: CAAM

In June 2025, a total of 1.707 million Chinese-branded passenger vehicles (PVs) were sold, up 5.3% MoM or 19.3% YoY, accounting for 67.3% of the total PV sales, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). Their market share also increased by 2.7 ppts compared to the same period last year. In 1H25, a total of 9.27 million Chinese-branded PVs were sold, up 25% YoY, making up 68.5% of the total PV sales.
