PBOC: Jun New RMB Loans ~RMB2.24T, Beating Consensus

New loans in 1H25 amounted to RMB12.92 trillion, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) released data saying. Based on the RMB10.6822 trillion increase in loans for 5M25 announced last month, new RMB loans in June amounted to nearly RMB2.24 trillion, beating the market consensus of RMB1.8 trillion.
