The HSI finished the midday up 26 points or 0.1% at 24,166. The HSCEI rose 30 points or 0.4% to 8,718. The HSTECH gained 10 points or 0.2% to 5,258. LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) added 1% even after two limited partners slashed their holdings by 4.6 million H-shares. Smart driving chip maker HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK) ballooned 4.1%. Lithium stocks GANFENGLITHIUM (01772.HK) and TIANQI LITHIUM (09696.HK) mushroomed 6.5% and 4.5%. Battery stocks CATL (03750.HK) fell 1.9%. As for tech stocks, BABA-W (09988.HK) swelled 1.4%. TENCENT (00700.HK), SMIC (00981.HK), and MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) inclined 0.4-0.6%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) surged 2.4%. NTES-S (09999.HK) dipped 0.2%, JD-SW (09618.HK), NEW ORIENTAL-S (09901.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) lost 1.1%. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) slid 2.9%. Building material stocks gained traction, with CNBM (03323.HK) soaring 8.1%. MAANSHAN IRON (00323.HK), CR BLDG MAT TEC (01313.HK), CONCH CEMENT (00914.HK), and ZOOMLION (01157.HK) also rose 3.9-4.6%.
