ENN Approves Privatization Proposal of ENN ENERGY; ENN to List in HK by Introduction

ENN Natural Gas (600803.SH) announced that the proposal to privatize ENN ENERGY (02688.HK) through a scheme of arrangement was approved at the shareholders' meeting held yesterday (28th). ENN will simultaneously list on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by way of introduction. According to the regulations of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, this privatization proposal will constitute a major asset restructuring for ENN. Once the scheme of arrangement becomes effective, under the proposed privatization plan, for every 1 scheme share held, shareholders will receive 2.9427 newly issued H-shares of ENN and a cash consideration of HKD24.5 paid by Xinneng HK.
