Having seen the privatization bid collapse, SOUNDWILL HOLD (00878.HK) opened sinking 14.5% this morning (26th) and once bottomed at HKD5.42 in early trading. It last traded at HKD5.5, down 15.25%, on a volume of 1.196 million shares, involving HKD6.5879 million. Earning Ease, the offeror, and SOUNDWILL HOLD jointly announced after market close last Friday (23rd) that the offeror's proposal to privatize the company by way of a scheme of arrangement was not approved at the court meeting, with 39.52% of votes cast against it.
