BIDU-SW Sees AI Rev. Grow Triple Digits YoY, Aims to Further Expedite Model Iteration, Says Robin Li

Robin Li, Founder of BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US), revealed during the 1Q earnings call that Apollo Go now covers 15 cities worldwide and has deployed over 1,000 autonomous vehicles. Apollo Go is currently conducting open-road validation tests in Dubai and is set to begin testing in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, the testing scope in Hong Kong has also been further expanded. Under its partnership with CAR, Apollo is poised to launch the world's first autonomous vehicle rental service. Li also mentioned that Baidu AI Cloud continued to deliver positive operating profit, with the current operating margin exceeding 10%. In 1Q25, Baidu AI Cloud's revenue grew by 42% YoY along with a continuously positive operating profit. AI-related revenue achieved triple-digit YoY growth.
