SWIFT: RMB Ranks as 5th Largest Global Payment Currency in Apr with 3.5% Share

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) released its monthly report and data statistics on the Renminbi (RMB).

In April, RMB ranked as the fifth most active currency in global payment based on transaction amount, with a share of 3.5%, the report said.

Related NewsFixed Asset Investment (YTD) YoY for April in China is 4.0%, lower than the previous value of 4.2%. The forecast was 4.2%.
When considering international payments excluding the Eurozone, RMB ranked sixth with a share of 2.38%.
