China's tourism market is gradually returning to normal after the May Day holiday, according to the Securities Times, which cited data from Tongcheng Travel. With airfares and hotel prices dropping significantly, travelers are now enjoying the best opportunity to travel before the summer peak.

As indicated by platform data, the average price of hotels in China has plunged by about half compared to the May Day holiday, with some popular holiday hotels seeing even steeper declines. In addition, domestic airfares have fallen by 30-40% compared to the May Day holiday, while international airfares have plummeted by around 50%.
