NEA: CN Apr Total Social Electricity Consumption Elevates 4.7% YoY

China's National Energy Administration (NEA) released data on total social electricity consumption, showing that April's total social electricity consumption was 772.1 billion kWh, up 4.7% YoY. Electricity consumption by industry showed that the primary industry consumed 11 billion kWh, up 13.8% YoY; the secondary industry consumed 528.5 billion kWh, up 3% YoY; the tertiary industry consumed 139 billion kWh, up 9% YoY; urban and rural residential electricity consumption was 93.6 billion kWh, up 7% YoY.
