Cathie Wood's Ark Investment ETF Buys ~200K Shares of TSMC, Largest in a Yr

Cathie Wood, through her Ark Investment Management's Ark Innovation ETF (ARKK.US) and Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW.US), purchased 123,587 and 74,189 ADRs of TSMC (TSM.US) respectively yesterday (19th), Bloomberg reported. This purchase scale is the largest since June 18, 2024, equivalent to 87% of the TSMC shares held by the investment management company as of the end of March. TSMC's stock price in April was 37% lower than its peak in January, but it has now recovered more than half of the lost ground. Cathie Wood's flagship fund, Ark Innovation ETF, has shot up 82% over the past two years, but is still 63% below its historical high.
