Lei Jun, Founder of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), said in his internal speech yesterday that the Company has committed 5 years ago to invest more than RMB100 billion in R&D over 5 years, and has invested about RMB105 billion so far, with over RMB30 billion expected to be invested this year, according to Chinese media. A sudden traffic accident at the end of March brought XIAOMI-W an “angry" doubt, Lei added.
