HKSAR Passport Holders Can Now Enter UAE Visa-Free for 30D

While summarizing his visit to Kuwait and Qatar during a media briefing in Kuwait, John Lee, Hong Kong's Chief Executive, announced that holders of HKSAR passports can travel to Qatar and the UAE visa-free for up to 30 days starting today (15th). Meanwhile, the visa-free entry period for travel to Oman will also be extended from a maximum of 10 days to 14 days, Lee added. The visa-free and extended stay arrangements provide greater convenience for HKSAR passport holders, which can strengthen Hong Kong's ties with the relevant GCC member countries in tourism, culture, and economic aspects.
