In March 2025, China's handset shipments leaped by 6.5% YoY to 22.765 million units, according to the latest data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. Among these, 5G phones numbered 19.424 million units, up 9.5% YoY, making up 85.3% of the total. In 1Q25, China's total handset shipments reached 69.67 million units, marking a 3.3% YoY rise.
