GALAXY ENT Chair Urges Industry Unity to Address Rising Hotel Demand in MO, Avoid Price Competition

Francis Lui, Chairman of GALAXY ENT (00027.HK), delivered a keynote speech at a seminar during the G2E Asia expo yesterday (7th), in which he stated that the company is capitalizing on the rise of the Asian middle class by making tremendous investments in integrated resorts and other non-gaming attractions to draw visitors, according to Macao Daily News. In Lui's estimate, hotel accommodation demand will continue to escalate in the coming years, and failing to properly address hotel supply issues will affect Macau's competitiveness.
