HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) announced its 1Q25 results at noon today (29th), reporting a 25% decline in reported PBT to USD9.484 billion.

The bank declared a first interim DPS of USD10 cents and planned to initiate a share buyback of up to USD3 billion, while expecting to commence shortly after its AGM on 2 May 2025 and to complete within the period before its 2025 interim results announcement.
