Effective April 2025, Cainiao Hong Kong will pilot an "open self-pickup point" model at two stations respectively in Tseung Kwan O and Tsuen Wan, offering self-service parcel collection. Users can retrieve parcels from station shelves using a pickup SMS, scan the parcel, and verify their phone number with an on-site scanner to complete the process. According to the responsible person, self-service pickup has increased collection speed by 50% compared to regular operations. Two additional open self-pickup points will be introduced in May 2025.
