According to China Securities Journal, mainland regulatory authorities recently issued window guidance to some insurance asset management companies, requesting them to control the scale of investment in insurance asset management products by individual investors and suggesting that no new insurance asset management products for individual investors should be issued. The report quoted insurance fund managers as confirming that they had recently heard from the industry that some of their peers had received the relevant request. However, several insurance fund managers commented that the impact of the adjustment would be limited.
