National Energy Administration (NEA) recently convened a video conference on national renewable energy development and construction arrangements. The authority stressed the need to push forward the construction of the 3rd batch of large-scale wind power and photovoltaic bases, with monthly scheduling and weekly monitoring aimed to foster the commissioning of these bases on schedule.

At the same time, NEA guided that local governments should strengthen their guidance on the industry to ensure the orderly development of new energy projects. Development enterprises should compete in an orderly manner and develop projects in strict compliance with the law. Power grid enterprises should increase investment in construction, especially the upgrading of the distribution network. The institutional mechanism and market construction-related policies and measures will be further reformed.
